Wemyss arrives with his staff officers, but neither he nor the investiture is clearly seen as he passes rapidly down the ranks.Mrs Lloyd George stands between two women in Welsh national costume, one holding a Welsh Dragon flag, the other a poster for the "Saint Nicholas Home For Raid-Shock Children". The rest of the group includes some children in Welsh costume. Mrs Lloyd George drives off in a car covered with daffodils. She arrives to join another group collecting for the "London Welsh Flag Day". The collectors, in Welsh national costume, are shown grouped together.Men of French First Army march with their wagons down a road in the wet.
